even the Beer, Baccy and Crumpet Party got 235(0.56%). Nearly 4 times as many.

The new workers obviously did no work and just sold newspapers.

At least they subsidised the cost of the electon to the British State with their £500 lost deposit.

EASTLEIGH BY-ELECTION

Darren Procter, member of the RMT Council of Executives, had been nominated and was endorsed by the SC. The Free Post Leaflet would be ready for Friday, at a cost of £1,200. CNWP members present agreed that the CNWP, as on previous occasions, would fund the £500 deposit

RMT delegates were concerned that an article on the SR web site suggested that TUSC should withdraw in favour of the National Health Action Party’s “grass roots candidate”. The RMT explained they may now consider withdrawing their support for SR being admitted onto the SC. Separately, the SC had contacted the NHAC about us trying to work together, but with no response yet. It was also reported that the NHAC candidate was not grass roots and had stood against TUSC for the Green party
