Forgive me for asking this but do you ever remember a march in 1976 where groups of Rockers led a protest march to London to demand more airtime for 50's/60's Rock'n'Roll music as they felt they were being ignored by the BBC.Wouldn't you agree and applaud them for having the courage to challenge the radio bosses about it and for one marcher-Johnny Taylor from Leigh in Lancashire I think had it spot on when he said that you heard a lot of modern stuff but there was little or nothing you liked.Your view would be much appreciated!

Actually Damien I am a bit of a fan of 1970's music.

How can anyone not like Carole King, Neil Daimond, Simon and Garfunkel and of course...ABBA!

I agree that some modern music is ok but a lot of it isn't! What actually was your view on the Rockers who were asking for more Rock'n'Roll to be played on the radio!

most music in all ages is pretty naf. I suspect in 1976 that most people would not want to listen to what the Rockers wanted.

Would you ever consider visiting the Ace Cafe that was and still is popular with Rockers?
